Frequently, not enough attention is paid to what we are drinking. When our body is dehydrated it is not able to work as efficiently. Water and low fat dairy products, skim milk, should be our main choices while trying to limit caffeinated beverages like soda and iced tea. Remember to drink at least eight glasses of water a day for optimal hydration and remember to add for increased activity. Also, pay attention to increased water needs in hot, humid weather as summer is right around the corner.
